Hi,

Have any of you guys heard of acurize schooting systems?
Is it any good and does it work with air pistol in dry fire mode (silent mode)?
Or are there better options out there for a dry fire target system at home?

I just googled "Accurize Shooting Systems" and briefly looked through their website. Their system costs $280 and seems to be a laser-based device. You may also want to consider a Mantis X system shown here: https://mantisx.com

Mantis offers several different products, some with motion sensors (which I use) and others with lasers. I use the Mantis X10 (motion sensor), but there are other, less expensive, options available. The feedback I get from this device takes much of the subjectivity out of my dry fire training sessions and provides an objective evaluation of my skills. Is it as robust and informative as a SCATT system? Heck no, but it's better than nothing at all.

I've had my Accurize for 11 months now and I'd really recommend it for dry fire practice. It's not an electronic target really. Some guys on the UK forum previously mentioned have had a few gripes about it with scoring. It's really not meant to be that. If you use it for dry fire training its great. Getting a live shot back on the app from the target and watching your group, or not, is much more rewarding than shooting at a wall/nothing. It's also useful for making tweaks and seeing how that has affected your shooting.
For AP you can get the .177 acoustic sensor which fits it to the barrel from the muzzle. The problems I've seen and heard from myself and other shooters is down to specific pistols. Steyr LP/Evo no issues. My Walther 500 has a sloped muzzle with hardly any flat contact area. The sensor is magnetic though so I just have my foresight blade ever so slightly forward to the magnet sticks to that. Another friend who uses Accurize has a Morini and that has a very large brake before or after the barrel but he's made it work.

Mine has just broken this week though so I'm in the process of sending it back under warranty. I'll have to see how that goes and update.

I have been using one for about a year now.
It works well in most of my pistols owned over the last year.

Currently I am using it in a Steyr EVO10e.
That pistol is perfect as I don’t need to cock after every shot.

With some pistols you see the back of the red laser. To avoid this on my P8X I obtained a taller front sight. This cured that particular problem.

On the Pardini K12 I made a taller front sight.

It’s not essential. But I prefer to see the laser hit the centre of the target and register a 10. The devise can be calibrated to hit virtually anywhere on the target and register a 10. However, I find that a bit offputting.
