My decision to drag my butt out of bed this morning at 0300 to watch the W3x20 50m Final was worth it. Sgt. Maddalena toyed with our emotions by starting at the top of the leaderboard, dropping to fifth and then roaring back to take Silver!
The watch party was quite riotous until it woke The Wife and she bonked me on the gourd with a slipper.
Congratulations Sgt. Maddalena, AMU, USA Shooting, and U.S.A.

Yes I agree, she did fantastic in both air rifle and SB. Wonder what happened to Mary Tucker? Going in I was pretty confident she could medal in one or both disciplines.

Proud of Sagen. My wife, daughter, and I watched finals. Typical roller coaster though she led it most of the way. Glad she got her medal. It was a pretty tough Olympics for Team USA rifle but she ended it on a good note.
