Can't find much info on these air pellets I've picked up, and there's not really much info written on the tin. Are these pellets discontinued or have H&N just rebranded? if I search for "high speed finale match" I just get H&N Finale Match Light.

Re: H&N High Speed Finale Match pellets
I used to shoot those. I think they were 7.7 grains. Probably no difference between them and the current "light" version.
Re: H&N High Speed Finale Match pellets
H&N pellets can be odd. Apparently, they sell "more accurate" pellets as rifle, and the rest as pistol.
That's why you can get heavy pistol pellets and vice versa no matter how they're packaged.
Don Nygord used to sell them as his "World Champion" brand. He told me the weight didn't matter.
Confusing, eh?

Re: H&N High Speed Finale Match pellets
I have been using H&N pellets for approximately 40 years, but the package photo you posted does not match any of my collections.

A nearest match within my collection is "Finale Match High Speed for Luftdrug & Co2-Pistolen, handsorted Kugeln" which was available until 1998±5y as I remember of.
If you have a scale that is capable of measuring each of the pellets in a few-mg-resolution, I would suggest to measure weight of several pellets. I guess the weight is 0.468±0.003. If so, the pellets you have are discontinued sometime in 1998±5y.
If you would like to dig deeper, I would suggest to make a cutaway and compare to

The one on the right is Finale Match Pistol which is quite similar to Finale Match High Speed. One difference is in weights. Nominal weight of Finale Match Pistol is 0.49 grams.

Yep, that one in the image you have as "circa 1998" is exactly what my tins look like. Guess my supplier had some old stock. They shoot fine and they were inexpensive, I'm happy.
