I thought that I read a post somewhere that suggested the use of a certain type of wall anchor that would fit just right. Can anyone help me out with this identification of what wall anchor might fit and what would work best?

I trim an old credit card to fit and place it at the breach. It works with every 22 pistol I’ve wanted to dry fire, buckmark to Morini.

If you buy any of the latest yellow “Hilman” 4-6-8x7/8 wall anchors you will probably be disappointed. The rims are smaller in diameter and thickness now and do not protect or eject like the old ones. I found a new supplier with drywall anchors that do work. Southern Fasteners and Supply, LLC. southernfasteners.com
864-607-9370. The part number for the drywall anchor is:
CPA4878G. Talk to James Spillman. They come in bags of 500 and I paid $30 for two bags including tax. My Juniors and I use alot of them.

I've used ones similar to these. Being soft stainless steel, they hold up longer than aluminum. Still, I think the right size plastic wall anchors are the best option for lots of dryfire practice. I like rgibson's find & will calling Southern Fastener & Supply.
