COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Gradient Lens Corporation donated a Hawkeye Precision Borescope to the USA Shooting Team today in Colorado Springs, Colo. The Hawkeye will be used by the Olympic Training Center resident athletes and coaches to ensure that the lands and grooves of their rifles and pistols are free from defects, fouling and erosion that affects accuracy.
An Olympic bronze medalist and two-time World Champion, Wanda Jewell knows just how important an edge can be in Olympic precision shooting. “We are always looking for that edge for our high performance athletes,” says Jewell, who also works as USA Shooting’s director of operations. “No athlete can accomplish their goals with equipment that isn’t at peak accuracy.
