Walther "Free cylinder replacement"

I have a friend with a Walther LP400 air pistol. In his paperwork that came with it, there is a certificate for a free replacement cylinder for when it needs to be replaced after 10 years.
I just bought a secondhand LG400 Competition air rifle , but found no such certificate with it.
Did Walther only have that offer with the pistols?
