For you data geeks out there...
Pellet and gun testing.
Walther LP500 (2019)
Hamerlli AP20 (2015)
Pardini K12 (2013)
Steyer LP10 (2012)
Test protocol:
1) 17 yards to help distinguish differences
2) Guns clamped by cylinder in 6" wilton vice mounted to a 700 lb work bench. 3d printed fixture to hold the cylinder and provide a rod for consistent trigger activation
3) climate controlled room
4) velocity collected on a Lab Radar chronograph
5) 10 shot groups for all gun/pellet combinations
6) group size measured edge to edge of the farest shots in group with a Mitutoyo digital caliper. 0.177" was subtracted from this measurement to represent center to center distance which is the data plotted
7) group size is in inches, velocity is ft/sec
