Trigger adjustments interconnected?

Post by toddinjax »

I am very happy with everything about my trigger (P8X) except that I'd like to have a bit less slack; don't want to change anything else. I have an adjustment screw to do this but as I have no experience working on triggers I wanted to be sure that all other adjustments are not "interconnected". That is, is moving one adjustable component going to affect the other components?
Thanks

On my P44, I am able to adjust the first stage travel distance on 1 screw, and the first stage weight on another. There doesn seem to be much, if any cross talk

They shouldn't be. Just remember how far you turn the screw to go back to the original setting, maybe even write it down.
