TOZ 35(M) Options

Post by lyoke2 »

Was looking at picking up a TOZ 35 or 35M, I can either get a 35 from Larry's Guns that is bare (no case, accessories or grip) or a 35M with some accessories, case, wood block grip, etc. from another source. The The price difference between the two is about $200 when said and done. Either way I'll be going with a custom grip from Precision Target Pistol Grips.

Is the 35M with some accessories worth the extra $200 or is a plain jane 35 suitable?

I just plan on using it a few times a year but don't want to dump a lot into it along the way.

Thanks!

Go with the 35. Some prefer it, some don't realize any difference.

Some 35's have the barrel (and sight) twisted slightly). I took a canted cut on the rear sight with a mill file, then "u-notched" it with a 3/16" chain saw file (Russian style).

The extra 200 bucks are worth it IF you get all the extra rear sight plates and the spare firing pin and springs in the small circular wooden box.....

I appreciate the input. I do see a small round wooden box. I'll reach out and see if those items are in there. If not, I'll roll with the 35.

The sight plates are useless and the springs are worthless. I make better springs from S&W revolver rebound springs and paper clips. Save the $200.

The 35M I bought was brand new. I found the sight selection and case worth the additional funds.
