Things are in the very boring stages of February; however it went to 69 degrees today after a month of ice & snow. Took my chrony and Morini onto the finally snow-free back deck and checked it out. Ten-shot average using RWS 7.0 gr. R10 Premium pellets was 522 fps, ES=5, SD=2, or a bit more than stated in the specs which is 500 fps, however don't know what weight the Morini folks use. In my opinion a very good performance. A SD of 2 is excellent.

Seems like you had the same idea as I did.

I tested my AP20 with RWS 7.0gr pellets and H&N Match Green (lead free) 5.25gr pellets.

The RWS clocked an average of 515fps, ES - 3, SD - 1.2
H&N Green Match clocked an average 587fps ES- 4, SD- 1.7

Pretty good performance for a budget friendly air pistol.

Both shoot to the same POI despite the difference in velocity.

I would guess velocity readings are published for the more common 7.3-8.2 grain pellets.
"using H&N 7.0 gr. Pro pellets" Are these a Euro spec only pellet? Who sells them? Thanks.

Sorry, I had a senior moment regarding the pellets. They are RWS R10 Premium Line 7.0 gr. sold by Champions Choice.

I just edited the original post.
