ELEY announces HS All American Team

After a delay due to Covid-19, ELEY, producer of the world’s most accurate rimfire ammunition, has released its high school All-American team for the 2019-2020 season and it includes six members of the US Shooting Team and five athletes now embarking on their freshman season of NCAA competition.

“While the Covid shutdown certainly added some challenges to this season, the scores produced and quality of nominees for this year’s All-American Team was the highest we’ve seen,” said Michele Makucevich, ELEY Competition Development Manager.

Now in its fifth year, the ELEY High School All-American Program recognizes the nation’s top ten high school competition rifle shooters in the smallbore rifle and air rifle disciplines. Appointed athletes receive an ELEY high school All-American coin and certificate. The top calculated average in each discipline is awarded 2500 rounds of selected ELEY tenex and the opportunity to either visit the ELEY facility in Winters, TX to test the ammunition or ship their gun to the facility.

• 2020 Winter Airgun, Air Rifle (Dec), Air Only (2 matches)
• 2021 Junior Olympic State Qualifier, Air and SB (1 match each)
• 2021 Camp Perry Open, Air (2 matches) STANDING AIR ONLY/NO 3P Air, Smallbore (1 match)
• 2021 USAMU National Junior Air Rifle Championships, Air 2 matches and SB 1 match
• 2021 Smallbore Rifle, Olympic Trails Part 2 (May), SB (2 matches)
• 2021 National Junior Olympics, Air and SB (2 matches each)
• 2021 USA Shooting Nationals, Air and SB (2 matches each)
• 2021 CMP Monthly Matches, Air Only (1 match each month)
• 2021 CMP 3P Smallbore Regional Championships
• All ISSF World Cup Competitions that lie before USASNC
• CMP Smallbore 3P Regional Championships (new this year)
