Changing LP10 absorber springs to EVO 10 spring?
Any one with experience replacing those pesky 3 little springs on the LP10 absorber with the newer EVO 10 single spring?
Re: Changing LP10 absorber springs to EVO 10 spring?
During adjustment of the piston travel of the absorber of my older LP 10, one of the three delicate small springs got lost. I then pullet the one-piece plastics "tension ring" (spring) from my LP 10 Evo E and replaced the small springs with this spring. That was last fall.
Seems to wook ok. The only difference I`m able to detect between the front ends of the absorbers of these two guns is that the recess milled near the front of absorber piston of the Evo 10 E does not have the 3 shallow springs seats drilled in the recess.
The problem now is to get this spare part (the one-piece spring), to get my LP Evo 10 E going.
Does anyone know where I could get that spare part? The distributor in this country could not supply one.
At the net, I located one distributor in India that may have quite some LP10 parts in stock. I`ll try to locate this spare part in Europe.
