Short question about the grip of the KK200 universal.'
Does this have the same grip as the KK100 or the KK300?
KK100 is universal too but has only a few larger grip surfaces around the grip to make it universal. It feels normal to grip either way. It feels just like a r/h rifle.
The KK300 however has a lot of small grip surfaces all around the grip which make it weird to grip

Yana,
Do you want to know if the KK200 Universal grip is textured, or how large it is?
EDIT - Do you mean is the KK200S grip rounded like the KK100, or faceted like a KK300 Universal? I think it's more rounded.

I want to know the shape. If its like the KK300 than its pretty useless. The KK100 grips and feels like a normal r/h grip. But its for l/h too as the other side has similar swells etc.
The KK300 just has one round grip all around (made with small blocks all around) to make it universal. Its a different way of making a grip universal.
I want to know what the KK200 uses. As I have a KK100 and want to upgrade but the KK300 isnt useable because of the above. It feels very awkward to grip. Not natural at all like the KK100.
If the KK200 has the same than I have no choice but to upgrade to Anschutz

I see. I think the KK200 is more rounded than the KK300, not faceted (small blocks).
Can you not modify the grip though? Plastic wood is cheap.

What about using something like the Morini Grip Moulding Paste and just moulding one to the exact shape for you?

Ok tnx. Awaiting a KK200 than.
Dont like altering grips. Makes resale value zero.
Doesnt look nice either. IF Id modify a grip Id have it done by a (wood) gunsmith. But thatll cost me.
Together with the value of a new KK300 that would become an expensive gun..
For E2000 I expect a gun thats ready to go
They arent available anymore new anyway. The 1 I saw is sold

Blimey, your local second hand market is tough; €2000 for a roughly 20 year old Standard Rifle.
While €2,000 isn't cheap, you can't expect the grip to be perfect. Walther have to make it to fit everybody, not just you.
There are removable putties like Sugru.

All they had to do was use the KK100 like grip on the KK300. How hard can it be. Fits like a glove and is still universal. The Anschutz grip is also fine. So its really not that difficult. They just made a very awkward choice for the KK300.
Sechand newer stuff is nearly impossible to get here
