Spring 2003 NRA Ten Meter Pistol League

Post by Jon Powell »

Website problems and occupational distractions have put me a bit behind in distributing the results of this sixth session of the league, but rest assured that they will be going out soon. At the same time I'll be accepting entries for the Fall 2003 session.
The Spring 2003 session was won by Ken Snyder with a 1688-38/1800 score (slightly improving his personal best in the league). The Second place title went to Craig Manning who was only two points back at 1686-36. Third place was won by Bill Freyfogle with a 1680-46 score.
The team title went to the Florida Gold team of Don Pearce,Tom Palider and Dan Rebman. This is an unfired match composed of the first sixty-shot series of each competitor. The winning score was a 1671-37 and is the second consecutive win by the Florida team.
Overall we had 26 competitors complete the session (down a bit from the earlier two sessions).
This league is an NRA approved postal league with a 180-shot course of fire using league supplied numbered targets or target stickers. There is an entry fee of $14 to cover NRA reporting fees, targets and postage. For information e-mail Jon Powell at jjpowell741@cs.com or check the league website at www.expage.com/airpistolcompetition.
