Walther LG400 loading lever

Post by demoens »

Hello guys,

does anybody have any information (manual, pictures, video) on how to switch the loading lever on a Walther LG 400?

By default the lever is on the right side of the gun. To open the loading port, the lever has to be rotated counter clock wise 1 quarter turn from forward position to the upright position.
I would however like the lever to be on the left side of the gun, and to open it, i would like to rotate it for 1 quarter turn from forward position to downward position.

I know the lever can be placed on either side. However, i can't find any informatiopn on how to do this.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Hi, yes you just undo the bolt on each side and swap the arm and housing from side to side. You cannot change the direction of swing AFAIK. So if you put the arm on the left, it will rotate clockwise.
