Hi All,

I broke my Cocking Grip on my .32Cal GSP Expert this past weekend (I can hear you laughing but yes, that's what it's called).

The local Aussie rep already has them on back order but they're not expected for another 3 months. As I'm sure you'll all agree, 3 months is way too long to be waiting to get this gun back functioning again. I was hoping to be able to source one from somewhere else in the world and am looking to the community for guidance as to who may:-
a) have one in stock and
b) be willing to pop it in the mail and send it to Australia.

I believe the part # I'm looking for is: #2331853

Looking forward to hearing from you.

Thank you

Rick

Hi Rick, a shooting buddy expierienced the same funny mishap with his .32 GSP while being right in the middle of a low level competition. Try the link below. They helped him, maybe they can help U. Good luck.

Greetings,

Be aware that the little insert that takes up the slack in the bolt comes in several sizes.

This is the little piece that fits into the slot on the "Cocking Grip".

Cheers,

Dave

@rkamy - Thanks for the recommendation. I've been in contact with Judith who runs the shop and she'll be posting the new part down under when it arrives from Walther in the next day or two. She was very accomodating and updated the website to allow shipping for this part to Australia. Great to see good customer service from www.schiesssport-billharz.de

@Dave - thanks for your advice too. I went out and measured the broken one as best I could this morning. Seems like my part is 16.07mm wide (or at least that's what my $20 vernier calibers say) which matches one of the sizes listed. Hopefully they're accurate enough as the next listed size is only 0.03 mm larger at 16.10 mm :-)

Laser welding is the answer.
It can be repaired, I have used Laserweld to repair a few pistols and can highly recommend them.

Thanks David - I never knew that even existed. The new ones on it's way from Germany already but as my old man said, you always need a spare so I'll look into getting the broken one repaired.
