Palm Rest Recommendations

What do you currently have?

Is it for Air Rifle or Smallbore?

I'm using a block now and shooting smallbore.

I recently purchased a new palmrest because I felt the one that came with my Anschutz 1918 stock wasn’t giving me enough height. It felt like I was holding up the rifle instead of it just resting on my support arm. I shopped around online and found that some are quite expensive. This is what I decided on and I’m very happy with it.

I like that its wood because it was a bit too wide to sit nicely in my shooting glove so I sanded it down for a perfect fit.
It is very adjustable up, down, left or right.

Thanks DavZee, I will keep that one in mind, I too need more height than what my current block allows.

I have seen quite a few shooters using adjustable rests.

I use an adjustable on my Pardini Air Rifle. Works pretty well.

Still using a block in Smallbore. I am looking at changing to a rest with more adjustments. It will only be for standing so the options are carving a block or getting an adjustable to find the sweet spot.

I am going to try out a few options and see what fits. Take a look what what glove you are using as well. I have been working to see if I like thicker or thinner based on the block and hold.
