I can use some help. I searched but did not find the source of this adapter. I'm hoping one of you good folks can help with ID. Thanks much

Lou

Probably a custom made mount for one of the small reflex sights, Docter, Burris, etc, or a small tube type sight shown below. Replaces the rear sight and extends the red dot to the rear to clear the loading arm/port. You can do the same with the mount below, just have to use the weaver adapter usually furnished with the sight.

What sight do you want to use on your LP10?

Burris or Docter, as well as others, the mount interfaces are the same.

I'm pretty sure this is not a one-off, note the 'pins' are integral to the parent material and the back-side lightening.
Would you happen to know the source & PN for the modified adapter you show?
Thank you for taking the time to answer.

The part you show looks like a die casting. Also could be a machined part that was bead or sand blasted. Where did you get the pics?

The part in my pics was machined by a member here. I have emailed him and will post when he replies. Hopefully he will see this thread and reply here.

My photo. The adapter mount came with my recent purchase of an LP10 with a Burris. Others (2) in the Club I shoot want a dot too for their Steyr's

Cast part - that is what I'm thinking too. There is not a single machine mark on it; they could have been erased by blasting as you said but then there are those pesky integral posts. I know they can be easily machined by CNC but that's a lot of bother for a one-off part. Molds are pricey; that's why I'm thinking there had to be a supplier out there that made them. One more hint - the corners are very sharp - not rounded like sand blasted aluminum

Thank you again for the help

There is also a weaver adapter made by Steyr but it slides on the shroud.

Yeah, thanks all regarding Steyr mount - aware of that one.
Seeking specifically the maker of the one shown in 1st post.
Not found yet - my google-fu is weak...
