AFAIK, the cause is not politics but a confirmed conviction for a lot of sexual offences which were not acted upon.......................

Oh, it was much more than that, but when will they start with the "politically correct" complaints.

Politically correct? Really? You're going to conflate the issues that USA Gymnastics suffered with political correctness? Seems pretty distasteful to put serious issues on par with the dismissive epithet of "political correctness".

There are rules to be followed to be the IOC recognised national organising body. USA Gymnastics will be replaced with a new organisation.

Argue about the worthiness of shooting sports on their own merit.

Agree 100%. USA Gymnastics is a bleeding wound. Heaven alone knows what the final cost to the USOC will be when the lawsuits are all settled.
