FWB weird noises

Post by NickyT »

Hi,
in these days I'm getting a feel with my brand ne Alu 800, reason why I prefer questioning my concerns.
After approximately 100 shots I've started to detect a toughness reloading the gun.
This happens only after shoting a pellet, not after dry fires.
I've shot a short video (https://80.17.193.51:474/share.cgi?ssid=0pJ91vb). You can hear a screeching pulling back the absorber piston.
In addition to the squeal I felt a light cocking lever vibration/toughness.
I've not get any adjustment to the absorbing device, no dirt on the piston.
The rifle works great with no issues but I have to deepen this concern.
Thanks in advance for your suggestions.

A bit of lube on the "tough" parts?

Yes, I agree but which parts?
I've lubricated all lever rods with no success and It's not easy 'to follow' the noise...
Maybe something inside, but I've no experience disassembling an air rifle...

waiting for the original FWB grease, I've spotted two scratches on the asborber tube (see pic).
Do you think is toughness related?
