Not destined for US import.

I can't see it being a commercial success. Just no space in the market for it.

Not destined for US import.
That’s a shame as the FAS 607 ( now 6007 ) is an incredible pistol that deserves to be experienced by shooters in the U.S.

And what's with it being available in Australia where we're told that restrictions apply even to toy guns?

That just proves why you shouldn't believe everything you are told! If you did some research before commenting on things like that, you might learn something!

Nice looking pistol; I wish they were distributed here. There is noting like a new target pistol and maybe one of these days, someone will invent a two-pistol target match (okay, fanciful justification). Honey, rats, I need another pistol. dipnet

Perhaps they are planning to?

The FAS 6007 pistol is made under license by Chiappa who already have a reasonable presence in the U.S. market. Actually, they have it currently listed on their U.S. website though it is possible that there may be a few legal hoops for them to jump through before it can be sold in the U.S. (a safety catch perhaps?).

I'm already sorted for .22 but I do love my Fas 603 in .32; it's such a soft, forgiving pistol.

Personally, I'm very pleased to have stumbled on a used FAS607. Was looking into them after following stories about the FAS6007 and the one I purchased was only a 45 minute drive from my house.

It's serving me well enough, the poor results are simply my fault. :p

Anyone have some feedback on the FAS 6007?

Very keen to buy, but don’t want to jump in and buy and get stung like I did with Matchguns MG2R

Cheers
