Does anyone have any experience with this handstop? Specifically: Do any of the adjustments create a rifle "cant?" Is it comfortable for a small hand? Other?
Quote from the website: "Anschutz 6229 Handstop/Sling Swivel. This new hand stop can be adjusted in all directions; horizontal, vertical, and radial. If your hand always hurts, this may help."
I've been using a simple post for four-five years on a small stock but now have a much larger stock for small hand. So, the post is not working and creating hand issues. Someone loaned me one today similar to the MEC, but much larger, made by Mo Defina. It feels much better - just got to try on the range next week.

Re: Anschutz 6229 Hand Stop
Sometimes simple is good. Have you thought of the Anschutz 4752? This pivots eccentrically so the stop meets youtlr thumb-V, and the weight of the rifle is on the heel of your hand.
If the bigger stock is the Anschutz 2213, yes that is quite wide. But remember that you can remove the wooden panels from the fore-end. You could make thinner panels, or leave these off entirely
