How well does a Celestron Landscout 10-30x 50mm Spotting Scope Model MPN#52320 focus down @ 33 feet? I have the 12-36x 60mm and it marginally focuses down but on 24x. The field of view is marginal on 24x. Is the 10-30x more suited or about the same?
The 10-30x 50mm is an outstanding little scope for 10m Air Rifle!! It easily focuses down @ 33ft, actually even closer!!!

The Celestron or one of the photo suppliers' websites should tell you the minimum focus distance.

Oh they claim 33 ft for both. The 12-36x will not focus down @ 12x and just barely focuses on 24x but as I said the field of view is too small on 24x @ 33 ft.

Just used one of our Jr club 10x30's this morning at 10m and it focuses fine.
Another inexpensive 5 & 10m option is the Ohuhu 12x50 monocular. They are on sale on amazon for 12.99 and have a threaded insert for mounting on a stand.
