Centra Front Sight Optic Vario Question

I just bought a Centra adjustable Eagle eye adjustable from 0.1 to 0.5 diopters for my Centra Score front sight. The threaded part of the Vario is very long (almost 1/2''). Is it supposed to fit like it does on the attached pic or do I need an adapter ? I could not find such an adapter in the newest MEC/Centra catalog.

Is that a stop ring to the left of the red arrow? Would the lens seat deeper if the ring were moved further down the thread?

No Tim, the Vario is already seated as deep as it will go.
