10M AP Postal Match

Post by v76 »

Seeing as the TSC match seems to be down forever, I figured I'd post it here as I've basically had the whole thing already made on a Google Drive for years now. Feel free to post your scores. As with most matches: only one submission per month, be honest, shoot on standard 10m target. You have from the 1st day of the month at 12:00 to the last day of the month at 23:59 EST to submit. Have fun!

While you are at it, use your scores to compete ith the 10M Pistol Competition League (PCL).

Results have been posted this afternoon. Will usually have a bit of lag on those since I have to upload them manually.

What's the point in using scores from other postal leagues?

Stand up and shoot another match like a man!

Agreed, personally. The more you put in to a competition, the more you will get out of it. If you don't put anything in, why bother? I mean I know the common wisdom is to compete as often as possible, but that's predicated on you actually competing at that event.

That's why I only signed up for one competition this December: I know it's all I can handle right now.

I don't condone it either but also don't want to cannibalize the shooters for the other match that is taking place (the other $$ one in the forum). Kind of proves the point that another postal advertised on this thread... TSC was great for that as it was THE place for a long time.

But indeed, sharing scores across may have the opposite effect. So, one match one score.

Rover, I'll concede to your point, as the PCL does have a specific reporting format.

That being said, I would still welcome any competitor who would like to join us at the PCL. We have competitors from around the world and at all levels of proficiency. As was mentioned, it is the idea of competing that is important.

Here is a link with the latest scoring for the October match.

As November is the last match for the 2016 season, it is a good opportunity to have a try in preparation for the 2017 season, which will start in January 2017.

The best thing about the 10M Pistol Competition League is that there is no charge for competing.

Happy shooting.
