Could anyone shed any light on way I would be getting a pain, very similar to tennis elbow, in my support forearm close to the elbow. It only happens whilst in position and I've tried everything I can think of to prevent it, including handstop shape and position, sling tension and length of pull.
I'm out of ideas and its getting painfull!
thanks Bryan

Hi Bryan,
have you considered sling pull? I've experienced pain in my forearm when the sling pulls from too far round the outside of the arm. If the cheekpiece is much too thick, so you're applying pressure at the side, the rifle could be twisting the arm. A badly angled hook could conceivably have a similar effect.

Hi Tim
I think you've hit the nail on the head with the buttplate, I'd never have thought of that. I've removed a small amount of cant from the buttplate and that seems to have reduced the tension in the forearm, so the sling must have been twisting the rifle and wrist.
thanks Bryan
