FAS 609 Regulator question

Hi all,

I am new here, I have just re-sealed an FAS 609 (1st series) & the pistol has definitely been "worked on" before.

Currently the gun is experiencing "valve lock" when cylinders with over 110 Bar are fitted. From this I am assuming that the regulator has been tinkered with & the regulation pressure is set too high ?

Can anyone advise or recommend the best washer stack configuration to achieve the best results in this pistol. The gun has 20 washers & 3 shims in the stack.

And also what pressure the reg should be set at ?

I am curious as to the "stack" where is it and what does it affect? As for regulator setting, the factory told me it is set w/no adjustment.
