Aren't you confusing the M162 AP with the M84 FP?

I don't recall that the 162 design was THAT old.

Well, almost - I can remember seeing the first 162 around the country in 1991 or 1992...

Sorry, it's an Italian Swiss company, we don't need to be so precise. Had it been German Swiss I would have said 25y and 7 months old.

I would say 21 Years.
The CM162EI was introduced in 1995.
If it works why change?

Here's another oldie but goodie.

Zhang Mengxue with her LP1P taking home the gold. You don't need the lastest model to win.

Perhaps the SSP shooters are real gentlemen... They stay home to give others a fighting chance!

Not to hijack the thread but in 2003 a Cuban young lady using a well-used FWB 601 defeated all the latest and greatest PCP air rifle at the PanAm games.

Rover ... take heart dude!

Hey Jim, I know you just sold a Walther LPM1 to my friend Russ here.

Peddle some more and give the gas passers something to think about.

Zhang Mengxue won the medal with a pistol that was about as old as she is. She doesn't have the ball bearing either that is available for LP1.
I also refused to have it installed on mine, because I own LP10 too and it simply makes no difference. They always try to sell it to you to "make it better" bla bla bla
