We took our scuba tank recently to the local fire department to fill with their compressor. It has the standard DIN valve which accepts the filling adaptors for the air cylinders. When our representative got to the station, the compressor was not able to attach to our tanks to fill them. I wasn't personally there but he said that it seemed like some sort of quick-connect fitting coming from the compressor. Does anyone know if there is an adaptor available for this sort of situation? Is it probably just a DIN to yoke adaptor?
Any advice is appreciated.

Yes, adapters are readily available in the scuba world. Your local dive shop may have one. Or here is one available on the internet. I have purchased items from them before with no issues.
