Plastic Pistol Cases

I purchased a Morini air pistol earlier this year, and a Hämmerli .22 pistol a couple years ago, and they both came in similar plastic cases (different foam inside, of course). Is there someplace where I can get the same plastic cases separate and unbranded, without also needing to purchase the two-thousand-dollar guns that comes inside them?

Hmm. Unless I'm blind, I didn't see any there that looked like the OEM cases that the major Euro-pistol manufacturers use. Nor did I see any on MidwayUSA. I'll keep looking, though.

http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B00DV3WH04 - hmm, looks like this is the one. Can't find it through any American sites (everywhere I've seen in my cursory search is .co.uk).

I'm fairly certain they are Negrini cases:

Greetings,

At one time, Neal Stepp of ISS Shooting Supplies sold empty cases for the Steyr LP series of pistols. I hesitated and he sold all he had. This was a while ago, so, I would contact him via telephone, he hates e-mail, and ask what is available.

Yup, that looks like it (or maybe it's so generic that "Strike Systems" and Negrini get them from another source and rebrand them too).

These guys will probably ship to the US, but you have to pay by bank transfer (to the Czech republic)

Pyramyd air has two ASG pistol cases that are practically the same OEM cases that are used by the major european air pistol manufacturers. The foam is already precut, but there is no problem to customize the foam to fit your pistol. Out of the two options, I'd pick the CZ.

Those cases are like my Steyr LP-10 case. I am sure you can use them for your pistol.

I bought one for my IZH-46m. I took out the foam and made my own IZH-46M shape foam with plug-foam.

The case stack up on top of Steyr Lp-10 case, identical shape/size. Easy storage.

That's exactly my intended use, or at least one of them: I have a number of other "euro" pistols for which I'd like to make custom cases.

I'm flying over to Colorado Springs next week for the Winter Airgun Championships with two airguns (a Morini and an Izzy), and I'm planning on putting them in a big Pelican case. But rather than custom cutting foam in the Pelican, I want to make this a little more modular and use pistol cases (with their own pre-cut foam) inside the big Pelican. And if I want to go somewhere like Ft. Benning, I can re-configure the innards of the Pelican for different matches. When going to local matches, I want something more compact than the bulky Flambeau case I've been using for my Izzy, so one of these cases would be perfect. And then as you said - simplified storage.

Thanks for the lead.
