I have a Hammerli 120 serial number 12-4xxx which is refusing to cock. I just purchased the gun from one of our member here and was at the range test firing it. At about 40 rounds, all of the sudden, I had to operate the bolt a few times before the gun could be cocked. A few rounds later, the gun could not be cocked at all. The bolt is operating freely (by minimal force, you can tell that the gun is not cocked), and when pulling the trigger you can hear the light click. However, the firing pin is not activated.
I tried adjusting screw III in the grip opening (per 10P files as to adjust the sear engagement), but still could not get the gun to cock. After the complete disassemble and cleaned, the gun shot for about another 30 rounds and refusing to cock again. What adjustment I need to do to be able to cock/fire the gun?
Thank you in advance for your help.

Re: Problem with Hammerli 120
How close did you adjust the trigger stop?
Try giving it a bit less, so that the trigger can reset.
Hope this helps
