Hammerli 120 Trigger Adjustment
I would be most appreciative of anyone could point out, using common American terms, just what the adjustment screws are for on the pistol. I have downloaded the manual, but I'm not familiar with the terms used. I'd just like to have a two-stage trigger with an appropriately positioned trigger stop.
Re: Hammerli 120 Trigger Adjustment
Although technically, any electronic trigger is a 2 stage trigger, in the older mechanical free pistols, the GSP in Free Pistol configuration is the only one that has a 2 stage trigger. The 120 is a 1 stage trigger.
The 2 stage trigger was a special order option on the 120.
The inner adjustment nut is a "coarse" or general range adjustment. The screw accessed from the front of the grip/frame is the fine or smaller range adjustment. There is no no "first stage" adjustment.
The Pilk Guns summary gives a simplified englishoid view of the instructions

Thanks amigo! I had downloaded and printed the manual, but the terms were weird to my American mind. Somehow I overlooked this great info from Pilkington's. It's just what I needed.
