Help with Anschutz 1403 trigger adjustments

Post by Martin H »

Hi
I have an Anschutz 1403. It appears to have a two stage trigger. I would like to adjust it but I can't find an instruction manual that matches this trigger unit. I can finf other manuals but they all have different triggers.

Can someone identify the trigger and does anyone have an instruction manual on it?
Cheers
Martin

Hi Martin,

the only document i have found is a parts list including an exploded diagram. But it names and shows the trigger screws for sear, for the trigger (weight) and the trigger stop. Maybe it can help you to adjust the trigger a little better. But do not expect to much. This old thing is not a real match trigger as we know them these days and from the better Annies.

Hi Frank,
Thank you, that's brilliant. Thanks to your parts list I was able to work out what was wrong, the trigger stop had been adjusted wrongly.
This model of trigger certainly isn't great but this one seems to be very consistent now.
Many thanks again.
