Congratulations to Plattsburgh who took first place this week, Week 8 Champions. Plattsburgh fired a 1581 and was led by the prone shooting of Paul Deslierres who fired a 399, this year’s best prone score. Albion came in second with a 1575, led by Joe Shrader and Larry Pavolko who both shot a 396. Jamestown placed third this week, (1573) led by Ben Swanson (400 see below), they just edged out Whitehall who fired a 1572 and was led by Jason Pratt who fired a 397, who fired a 99 standing.
Joe Shrader continues to have the league’s top 4-P average (396.88). The top four shooters are less than a point apart. Albion is currently ahead of Whitehall 12618-12611 in what continues to be a very close race for the overall league lead with just two matches to go.
Congratulations go out to Ben Swanson of Jamestown, who fired a perfect 400 this week. This is the first time since 2012 (Jason Pratt, Whitehall) that this has been done. Jason and Ben have showed us all that, yes this is possible. If I recall the only other person that has done this is Bill Thomas of Burlington.
Our Top Prone shooter this week was Paul Deslierres of Plattsburgh who shot a very impressive 399 this week. John Liska of Barrington currently has the league’s top prone average of 396.29, less than a point separates our top three prone shooters.
The league has over 100 shooters, 15 teams from six states.
