Aimpoint Micro on my Pardinis

Post by Murph »

Anyone selling or offering adapters and tubes to modify an Aimpoint Micro so that front and rear shade tubes can be added on. I love these Aimpoints but want the tubes if I can get them. Indoors they are fine as is, but outdoors I will want the tubes.[/b]

Thought I'd reply to the thread, plus the PM.. If you desire threaded tubes, you can have the Ultra Dot tubes altered to press onto the Micro. Fred can do that for you, but the surplus threaded UD tube supply has been drying up..if you can find or have some spares lying around, that would help you out.. I turn and thread the tubes for my applications. The thread is metric, and not all lathes will cut them.
Good luck

I use one of the ultradot "rings" with an ultradot tube on the rear of an aimpoint. Lines up well, but does add a bit of weight, but less overall than an ultradot.
