When I am in the prone position the rifle is turning to the right so I am looking out the left side ( 9:00). I shoot with a hook and could that be my problem. Any help will be appreciated.

Yes the hook could cause the rifle to point away from you. However we need a little more information. First, I presume you are right handed. Next, is this a recent occurence, or a long standing issue. Also have you made any changes to your equipment (new rifle/jacket/glove) or to the rifle set up.

If the hook is at fault, I wonder if it is too straight. This would prevent the butt seating far enough into your shoulder, and could cause the rifle to point out to the right. Angling the hook out (away from your body), or moving the butt to the right, would bring the rifle nearer.

Another likely issue is the sling, If this is too long, it won't pull the rifle hard enough into your shoulder, so the weight makes it drift away from you. Tighten the sling, and it will be pulled towards you.

It's possible that your cheelpiece is too wide, although for me this pushes the butt to the right, so the barrel points left.

You may also not have your hand all the way under the rifle. Your thumb should be parallel to the bottom but still in view and your fingers almost touching the top of the stock.
