Target Sight Blur

Hi all,
I am currently borrowing a friends Anschutz rifle with stock sights + gehmann rear sight.
I've never come across this problem before (I've only shot on a fwb 2700 for the past 4 years or so and had no problems whatsoever). Anyway when I'm on target, as my sights rise and fall and when I'm about to take the shot my picture of the target goes from black to grey to almost white (practically invisible).
I've had a look through different filters as well as head positions but I am completely unsure as to what I can do to go back to seeing a perfect sharp picture of the target. A few others had a look and had no problems whatsoever with seeing a perfect sharp image of a target. I looked through the FWB as well and no problem at all.
If anybody could help out, it would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
