Just got a NIB TOZ35M from LGI and of course it is sticky from the cosmoline
and needs a complete clean job. One question: how do I remove the fore end? I see that you must remove the single screw, but then do you try to pull it down, pull it forward, etc.? It seems to be stuck and I obviously do not want to force it. No banging with the hammer. Any suggestions? Thanks .

I have no idea what NIB and LGI are... But you have to remove grip to be able to remove fore end.

NIB is new in box and LGI is Larry's Guns Inc. in Gray, Maine

Remove the grip so the trigger unit can "drop down". Then you will be able to remove the front end by pushing it down and then forward.

Hope this helps

Hello
I dont know if you have to take down the grip.
On my TOZ I just open the screw, drop the fore end down enough to clear the nut and pull it foward.

The whole trigger assy hinges in the back by the action. Once you take off the front screw, you can lower it from the front.

If it has factory grips, I think they do not allow the trigger group to hinge low enough to remove the for end.
