New to this board. Just was given an Anschutz 1907 (I think it is). It is a R hand bolt, but left hand stock.
I have been searching for a used stock that will fit this rifle. Any suggestions?
Stock for 1907

Catch 22,
Finding a stock for a 1907 is fairly easy. Any 1900, or 1800 stock will fit, as will aftermarket stocks for Anschutz Match 54/1800/1900 like the MEC.
However you do not have a 1907. The rifle pictured is a 1403, this is a junior model built on the lighter Match 64 action (the 1907 is a Match 54). From the shape of the stock, and bolt I'd say this gun is around 30 years old.
What sort of stock do you want? If you just want a right-handed stock, then look for a 1403. An 1803 or 1903 stock would also fit, these are slightly newer versions of your 1403. Some Match 64 sporting stocks may accept your barrel/action without modification.
But if you want to replace the stock with a modern match-style, then this is much harder. To my knowledge there are no after market drop-in Prone or 3-Position stocks for the 1403. This is because shooters tend to replace junior rifles like the 1403, rather than upgrade parts as they do with the Match 54. A specialist gunsmith or stockmaker would be able to make/adapt a match stock for your 1403.

Anschutz stock
I have a 1407 stock that I can sell. I bought the rifle from MT Guns and stuffed it into an CompetitionShootingStuff.com tube gun stock. It is in good, but not perfect shape.

Re: Anschutz stock
The barrel/action pictured would not fit into a 1407 stock without being bedded. It's a Match 64 action, but your 1407 stock is inlet for a Match 54 action. The 64 is slimmer, and the bedding bolts are not in the same place.ehampel wrote:I have a 1407 stock that I can sell.
