Damned annoying, I say

Post by Rover »

I just picked up a tired FWB Model 2 (the original gas gun). The trigger goes click-bang, a screw is missing from the grip, and the trigger blade is cracked and wobbly. The sights aren't optimum and the grip doesn't fit very well, either.

The good part is I didn't pay much for it and the test target is the classic "can't drop a pellet thru".

The annoying part is that I'm shooting tighter groups with it than with my well tweaked LP1.

Go figure!

With all my pistols my FWB Model 2 Mini is still one of my favorite guns to shoot. Good solid build, everything about it feels nice.

Enjoy,
Joe

The FWB mod2 is a very nice gun;

I'm surprised you don't like the grip.
It fits me like a glove and I don't think shooting one of these is much of a handicap at all.
Highly recommended if you have access to bulk CO2.

Hey Clarence,

I may let you make an offer on the FWB 2. I can't bear the frustration.

FWB 2

I have been shooting my Model 2 since I got back into competition last year. I can get C02 at the local welding store. My 10 pound cylinder lasts for months and only costs about $17 to fill it.

It shoots as well as those new $2,000 guns now available.

There are still parts available for it and custom grips too.
