Pardini PGP 75 Trigger Problem

I have an early PGP 75. The trigger will set and click when the trigger is pulled. However, the small pawl a the bottom of the chamber will not drop that releases the spring loaded firing pin in the bolt. Therefore, the gun will not fire. Any help resolving this is greatly appreciated.

Maybe you can look at it and figure out what the issue is.
