can anyone tell me the name of their favorite dive shop in Phoenix where I can purchase a 80 cf tank with a DIN valve? A shop that knows what a pcp airgun is, and can relate to my needs.

Buy one off Craigslist, bigger the better...$40 to $60. Fill it at PRGC next time you're shooting a match there. I know they're not all the same, but they're all the same. No rocket science here.

The Desert Midwinter starts in the morning (Wed.).

Hydrostatic testing is required every five years or you can't get it filled, so if you buy one off Craigs list ask when it was last inspected.

Also most likely the tank will have a k-valve and you will need a K Valve to 200 DIN Valve Adapter, you can get these on Amazon for around $30.

I got my used tank at El Mar diving center in Mesa. I got the tank as cheap as on craigslist, and it was newly re-hydroed. They will fill tanks with no PADI card, as long as you sign a waiver saying you won't use the tank for diving.

Had a fill there. Good folks.

What I said about PRGC still holds true.
