Computer program for scoring and squadding

Post by dazza »

Can anybody recommend any scoring and squadding software suitable for ISSF pistol matches?

There is a system available here in Australia but we are also looking at other suitable alternatives. We have scanned the internet but to date have not come up with anything suitable, all programs seem to revolve around the U.S.A. NRA Bullseye type of matches.

Any information that you may be able to offer would be greatly appreciated.

This is probably of no help to you but I am only aware of scoring machines such as this that come with some sort of software.

Try Match Manager 2007 from ABVisie http://www.abvisie.nl/

The site is in Dutch (use an online translater) - There's a demo version you can download (at the bottom of the download page).

The program itself has options for English, French, German and Dutch.

If you want to see an example of the program's output try the results from Intershoot 2012 http://www.intershoot.nl/content/2012-results

There are two types of web output, with the "Consolidated" results also giving a shot diagram if you click on an athlete's name.

On the consolidated result page there's also a menu (top left) where you can choose the competition - to get back to a scrolling set of pages just reload the browser page.

The results can be uploaded to the web during the competition if you have an Internet connection and somewhere to host the results page.

Conventional hard print-out on-site also available.

There is a simple application that I use that you can download from the apple store. Target Tracker where you tap the hit on a target on your iPhone, and Total Score where you tap the number say 10 or 9 on a table format. Both provide some simple statistics which I thought ate useful.
