Hey guys, I'm waxing a little nostalgic.

My brother just sent me a P10 to sell for him. He bought it back in the 80s. ( I think I have it sold locally.)

I took it out to the garage and lubed it up then started shooting. This thing is sweet. Once I got comfortable with it my scores were comparable with those shot with my LP1.

The thing is light weight and totally easy to cock; suitable for Juniors, women, and lazy guys. On discharge it is totally "dead"; no jump or twitch.

Back in the 80s when I was shooting the FWB 65 and 90, I bought one of these (it had recently come out) and was happily playing with it. After a while I decided it didn't have enough "punch" and sold it to a friend who then sold it and bought a K58. He quickly made "Master" with it.

I shoulda kept it. It is a totally modern pistol. Good grips, good trigger, good sights, good ergonomics, and delightfully easy to cock.

It's a pity Pardini still doesn't offer it. It's perfect for folks who want a "lightweight". Those who have it are hanging on to it. (When was the last time you say one advertised for sale?)

Bought my Pardini P10 new in the 80's and still shoot it. It is truly a gem. I don't remember the weight specs of the K58 I owned, but it felt a bit more muzzle heavy than the 10. If they still made either of them today, I'd buy them, again.

Current production single-stroke pneumatics like the FAS604 and Izzy 46 are also excellent shooters. If you are getting into AP and don't want to invest the big bucks for a PCP, nor deal with all their charging paraphernalia, try a SSP. Less can be more.
