Could someone be able to tell me the rules for strapping of an arm for ISSF pistol shooting. I know the elbow is not to be supported but can you have strapping or an aid on the forearm for Tennis elbow for example.
Thanks.

Some1 will probably post uo the actual rule. What people use is a band about 2 inches wide that tighten up below the elbow nut shooting won't help recovery

For their local and national competitions, most national organisations have to comply with their applicable anti-dicrimination legislation.
For PA competitions
in Australia, take a look at the info sheet at
http://www.nrc-pa.com/inf_10_Support.pdf.
For ISSF-sanctioned competitions a different set of rules apply and
6.4.2.1.1 The use of any special devices means or garments which immobilize or unduly reduce the movement of the shooter's legs, body or arms is prohibited in order to ensure that the performance skills of the shooters are not artificially improved by special clothing does apply. At those competitions random checks are made at the completion of qualification rounds clothing and taping compliance.

It's quite simple I'm afraid. It's supportive so cannot be used.
It would fall foul of the last part of 8.4.1.1.1 "Bracelets, wristwatches, wristbands, or similar items are prohibited on the hand, and arm, which holds the pistol." and also 6.4.2.1.1 "The use of any special devices means or garments which immobilize or unduly reduce the movement of the shooter's legs, body or arms is prohibited in order to ensure that the performance skills of the shooters are not artificially improved by special clothing."
One of the post-competition random checks at major competitions is for Kinesio type taping and other supports.
edit note:- Damn, Spencer beat me to it ;-)
