Changes to ISSF rules for 10m air pistol women timing

Post by allergy »

Hi,

I heard that detail's timing will change wef next year ie instead of 1 hour for 40 shots, we are given only 50mins. Does anyone know were I can find the new rules?

Thanks!

You won't yet, they haven't been issued.

If someone is only giving you an hour for 40 shots then they are short-changing you. The current ISSF rules allow 1 hour 15 minutes (including sighters).

So until such time enjoy your extra 15 minutes.

@ david, I was referring to the time without sighters. Thanks for your advice.

Since you can take as long, or as short, as you want for your sighters it's up to you how long you take up to the maximum 1hr 15mins. As mentioned though no new rules have yet been announced.

Rob.
