From what I've heard the Interservice Pistol Matches have been held at Lackland AFB, Camp Robinson, Nashville TN, and Benning. Why was Interservice moved around throughout the years, aside from Lackland AFB? Has funding always been the case?

Is there any available reading on the history of the Interservice Pistol Matches?
