I am new to to shooting precision air rifles and i am looking at getting an air rifle. I am not trying to be picky but i want to get an aluminum air rifle. what manufacture would you all recommend? one more more thing i have found an "used" feinwerkbau model 700 aluminum for sale for 2,295. when i say used i has had only 10 shot pellets fired through it, otherwise it is like new. would you all recommend buying the rifle of an fairly new shooter. by the way my 4-H rifle team and i won the .22 3p sate indoor rifle match(texas).

All the top brands are excellent. I never owned a FWB but I have test fired them. Great rifle. I personally think it takes a few weeks to see if a rifle is a match to the shooter. Since that is a good price on an excellent rifle, I would try it out, and sell it if it does not suit you. I just switched from an Anschutz 9003 Precise to a Walther LG400. I could also recommend either of these rifles, but it really comes down to personal preference and fit. I suggest you buy the FWB and enjoy your trigger time with a world class rifle.
Good luck, and keep up the good shooting.

Thanks for the advice I think thought I am going to pass up this fwb 700 instead I am going to get the lg400 because I have been practicing with a club Walther lg30 for a few weeks and I have had a good experience with Walther rifles so far
