TOZ35M trigger adjustment

Post by GVJOHN »

I would like to raise the trigger pull on my TOZ35M to 400-500 gm. Is this feasible? (I have turned the screw in front of the trigger guard and the pull weight goes up but it seems the cocking effort goes up as well. I'm afraid I will bend or break the cocking lever.) Anyone have a suggestion or source where I could get instructions?

The Toz Trigger will not adjust up that high. you will strip the thread on the plastic nut in the long lever if you keep turning the weight screw.

I know this sounds crude, but you can stick a small rubber block on the frame behind the trigger shoe (like a squashable trigger stop) to increase the weight of pull. It will take a bit of trial and error cutting them to different thickness etc. and maybe different hardness rubber to achieve a good feel but it will work.

Try a pencil eraser, old school revolver trick for DA revolver shooting.
