Dry Firing with Classic Springers? e.g., the FWB 300 series

I've recently gotten a 300 from Our Host and I love it. But I don't see any obvious way to dry fire unless, maybe, with felt cleaning pellets. Any better ideas?
Thanks!

FWB do not recommend dry firing the 300-S springers. I guess firing the felt cleaning pellets would be OK for 2 or 3 shots, but they don't give the air pressure resistance of a lead pellet so long term damage might occur to the piston head buffer and springs can some times break, , plus it would be expensive way of dry firing.
If you have easy access to a range, just shoot normal pellets for your practice and trigger control.

Not a good idea, when these were in common use the dry fire technique was to just to pressure against the trigger uncocked.

That's kind of what I expected. Thanks for confirming it.
